"Home: Where Everyone Is Welcome," is a new book featuring poems and songs inspired by American immigrants. Co-authors Deepak Chopra and Kabir Sehgal tell us about some of the famous contributors to the book, including Google co-founder Sergey Brin. Brin, an immigrant from Russia, wrote a poem entirely in code.
Chopra and Sehgal discuss the importance of having cultural conversations about immigration. Chopra says poetry and music are effective tools of resistance because, "throughout history, artist are the rebels."
As for President Trump's comments and attitudes on immigration, Chopra says, "people are slowly realizing that he's mentally and emotionally unstable."
