Snap Dog is a New York City hot dog purveyor that's giving hot dog carts an image makeover. The company makes hot dogs from 100% premium beef, and smokes its hot dogs in a real smokehouse.
The true signature of a Snap Dog, however, is a heat-activated logo on every single dog and sausage.
Keith Dorman, Founder and CEO, joins Cheddar to explain how Snap Dog is scaling the business. In addition to the more than 20 carts around New York City, dogs can be purchased online and in five other states. Dorman also lays out his careful plan for expasion, which starts with restaurant partnerships and goes all the way to sponsoring the 'Snap Dog Bowl.
