Thomas Suarez, an 18-year-old app developer, recently pitched his idea on Apple's "Planet of the Apps." Suarez created a laser tag game for smartphones called WiTag and was mentored by Will.i.am during the competition. In September, WiTag will be one of the first apps to be supported by Apple's new ARKit. VC firm Lightspeed made a $100,000 investment in the company.
