The new Sony Pictures Classics film, "Mark Felt: The Man Who Brought Down the White House," details the story of the Watergate whistleblower known as "Deep Throat." The film's writer and director, Peter Landesman, is a former investigative journalist himself. Landesman says this film "dives through the looking glass of America's most important journalistic moments." Landesman says one of America's greatest films, "All the President's Men," didn't reveal the whole truth about Watergate. He hopes his new film, which hits theaters September 29, offers a new persective on what really happened to Mark Felt.
