Senior Hollywood Life reporter Chloe Melas joined Cheddar live on set at the New York Stock Exchange to discuss this year’s Metropolitan Museum Costume Gala sponsored by Apple. Apple’s Designer in Chief, Jony Ive, will co-chair the event along with Taylor Swift, who is one of the faces of Apple Music. “The guest list has not been revealed, but we are expecting a lot of tech executives to go,” said Melas. She added that there is such exciting hype around the Met Gala every year since it is an event that can truly elevate a celebrity’s brand. “As a celebrity if you are invited to go to this by a fashion house, it’s a huge deal. It’s like a check off the bucket list,” she said. “Only the most high-profile celebrities get to go.”
