The founder and CEO of the Independent Journal Review joins Cheddar on set to talk about President Obama’s last White House Correspondents Dinner. For the dinner, Skatell’s media company printed a physical yearbook filled with all the White House Correspondents’ high school photos to share with guests of the event. He also reflected on why more and more new media companies are focusing on politics. “There are a lot of people this year who are excited about the election. They want to be informed. They want to be engaged. There were 24 million people who watched the first Presidential Debate,” said Skatell. “This stuff is important. It is impactful. It affects people’s everyday life. Americans care about who their elected officials are.”
