Founder of the VC firm Poise Ventures, Val Katayev, believes that we are not in a tech bubble since the capital invested in private companies now is much “stickier.” Katayev, whose fund is an investor in student loan refinancing company SoFi and feel-good, DIY website LittleThings, said that valuations have definitely come down for private companies, but the state of the market does not resemble the Internet bubble of 2000.
