Michelson comments that the president has placed the value of a dollar over the value of thousands of lives, noting that the transgender community is 40% more likely to attempt suicide than any other community.

Paley and Michelson discuss the disadvantage that transgender military members are at, now that the president has made this announcement. President Trump has opened the door for opponents of their serving in the U.S. military to act as bullies going forward.
