TYT Network has raised $20 million in a new round of funding. The progressive digital news network has more than 3 million subscribers on YouTube, and millions of views each week.

Cenk Uygur, CEO and Founder of TYT Network, says "news is red hot right now, but if someone's gonna come on and just read their talking points, [he's] not interested."

When it comes to cable news, Uygur points out that TYT has a younger audience, while, "for every 42 year old watching Bill O'Reilly, there's a 102-year-old watching it." That's why he says "who cares" what the pundits have to say about cable shows.
