Donna Harris, Co-Founder D.C. start-up incubator 1776, published a post in Medium this week responding to the controversial memo. Harris says she published her post because she felt the memo was ignorant of the issues women face on a day-to-day basis in the industry. When comparing culture in D.C. to Silicon Valley, Harris says the nation's capital is one of the best cities for women in technology.
