Is Charlottesville No Longer "America's Happiest City?"
2m 13s
Kellen Squire, registered nurse and candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates, discusses what it was like to work in the emergency room on the day of the white supremacist terror events in Charlottesville. Squire discusses Charlottesville's reputation as "The Happiest City in America" and how the city is recovering from the events that took place. We also talk about Squire's run for office, and why he decided to switch parties from Republican to Democrat back in 2008 when he worked for the Obama campaign, realizing then that Democratic values aligned more with his own.
