New York State Senator Gustavo Rivera (D) from the 33rd senate district was born in Puerto Rico, and now represents one of the most heavily Puerto Rican-populated districts in the country. Rivera, whose parents still live on the island, says that things are continuing to get worse, and that the president needs to step up his actions.
