While attending Harvard, McGinnis' colleagues said he had "the fear of missing out" because he tried to do everything. He came up with acronym and wrote an article about it in 2004. Patrick McGinnis is credited with coining the term "FOMO," the fear of missing out. He explains how, 13 years after coming up with the phrase, he plans to make a career out of it. Plus, he talks about his new book "The 10% Entrepreneur" which explores only using 10% of your time and money investing in your passion while keeping your day job.
