Co-Founder and CEO Amanda Weeks says her start-up is breaking down waste in sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective ways. Weeks says she was inspired to pursue a career in waste management after growing up near what once was the world's largest landfill in Staten Island. Industrial/Organic hopes to work with city governments to improve waste management and solve challenges in the space.
