Weed Merchandise Ban Goes Up in Smoke
1m 35s
After a bill banning cannabis merchandise in California was passed by the state's House and Senate, lawmakers backed away and didn't go through with it. Matt Gray, CEO of Herb, explains why the Democrats stepped back and dropped the bill. The bill was aimed at protecting children from being exposed to t-shirts, hats, and other paraphernalia with marijuana images on it. How is that different from the tobacco industry not being allowed to sell merchandise? Gray says it's because marijuana doesn't kill people, but cigarettes do. Plus, cannabis drone delivery goes up in smoke in California, as the Bureau of Cannabis Control bans the technology from bringing weed to customers.
