The company wants to eliminate the need to wait for delivery from retailers like Amazon, and instead tells customers the closest store in their area where the product can be found. Dean notes that most of the products people are searching the app for are seasonal, related to Halloween or Christmas, for example. People also search for everyday necessities like Advil or toilet paper. The app is created through a combination of real-time data, predictive analytics, and crowd-sourced information.
