Kerry Trainor, the CEO of Vimeo, stopped by the New York Stock Exchange set to announce the launch of premium Cheddar content on the Vimeo platform. Co-founders of The Second Shift Jenny Galluzzo and Gina Hadley joined Cheddar to discuss their digital recruiting site which addresses the needs of professional women looking for alternative jobs. Chairman and Senior Executive of IAC Barry Diller told Cheddar in an exclusive interview that the subscription based model of media consumption is growing. The system of cable and big satellite packages are losing steam because they provide no real choice for individuals, said Diller. He added that though the subscription-based model is scattered, it is thriving because it gives people optionality. “It’s going to continue to grow because people want their own choice,” said Diller. “If you give people something they are interested in, they’ll pay for it.”
