For the first time ever, Uber is looking to outsource some of its server infrastructure. The ride-sharing service is soliciting bids from major tech companies like Google, Microsoft and Amazon for cloud computing technology in order to obtain unlimited supercomputing power. With reports that the artificial intelligence market will be worth more than $5 billion by 2020, everyone is looking for the latest product in this space. Enter Viv, a next generation AI technology from the creators of Apple’s Siri. During a demonstration at TechCrunch Disrupt NY, Viv was not only able to handle complex requests, but the it could also connect with third party merchants to purchase items and book reservations. Disney will report its fiscal second quarter earnings after the close on Tuesday. Even though many investors are optimistic about the House of Mouse’s prospects, the company’s flagship sports network ESPN has not fared well in recent years. “SportsCenter,” ESPN’s number one show, has fallen by 37 percent in the 18 to 34-year-old demographic from 2010 to 2015.
