WayUp CEO Liz Wessel stopped by the set to talk about her startup which connects college students and recent grads with part-time, summer and entry level jobs. Unemployment for recent college grads is about 10 percent, double what it is throughout the U.S., according to Wessel. “Overall, the biggest complaint that we hear, which is why we started this business in the first place, is that students just don’t have experience,” said Wessel on Cheddar. “So, what we said when we started this company is let’s have it so when students come onto our site there are jobs they are qualified for.”
