ACSI Funds' Kevin Quigg Focuses on Facebook's Ad Growth Outside Core

As Mark Zuckerberg's company transitions from a Facebook-driven model to focus on Instagram, WhatsApp, and other platforms, Quigg looks at ad revenue across platforms as a key indicator. Facebook released Q2 earnings Wednesday. Earnings came in at $1.32 per share, higher than analysts' expectations of $1.13. The company also generated $9.32 billion in revenue during the quarter, compared to $6.4 billion during the same period last year. Facebook hit 1.32 billion daily active users, up from 1.28 billion last quarter. The company announced last month that it reached 2 billion monthly active users.
