The latest on Sean Spicer's decision to leave the White House after President Trump named as Anthony Scaramucci communications director. The New York Times reported that Spicer "vehemently disagreed" with Scaramucci's appointment. The hedge fund founder was reportedly offered the job by President Trump Friday morning. According to the Times, Trump "requested" that Spicer stay on, but Spicer told the president that the appointment was "a major mistake."
