Jon Steinberg was with Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper at Denver Startup Week to find out how the Mile High state is creating an entrepreneurial environment for businesses. Gov. Hickenlooper attributes a piece of the city's growth to its culture and outdoor lifestyle.
Gov. Hickenlooper also discussed the bipartisan healthcare fix he crafted with Gov. John Kasich (R-OH). He and Kasich led a group of 8 other governors to put together a list of proposals to repair issues in the Affordable Healthcare Act's insurance markets.
In response to President Trump's tough criticism of the NFL's anthem protests, Gov. Hickenlooper says the commander in chief is just trying to distract the country from real issues like North Korea and Healthcare. The governor expressed his support for the players' right to free speech.
