Samsung unveiled its next-generation smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8, on Wednesday at its "Unpacked" event. CNET Executive Editor Roger Cheng says the upgrade is "decent," but that the company is playing it safe after last year's Note 7 woes. Cheng says Samsung did the right thing by addressing the elephant in room right off the bat during the event.
