SoftBank Invests $250 Million in Kabbage

Last week, online lending platform "Kabbage" announced it received a $250 million round of funding from Japanese technology company Softbank. This is the largest equity raise in the small business loan space to date. Kathryn Petralia, co-founder and head of operations at Kabbage, says the company is now planning to use the funding to expand in Asia and accelerate its Software as a Service platform.
