Jason Malki, CEO and Founder of StrtupBoost, discusses the reason behind the company's founding, to bring leaders in tech and media together, and the first ever "33 Under 33" Awards, of which Cheddar is a sponsor. Around 30,000 people receive the StrtupBoost newsletter, and each of those members was able to vote on who should be highlighted as the best in their individual fields. The nominations were then narrowed down to 66 finalists. The final votes were tallied by an app created by one of the winners. We also discuss how the winners are not necessarily huge executives or founders of the companies they work for. Instead, each individual displays leadership and has made some sort of impact on the start-up community. Cheddar will interview several winners of the "33 Under 33" Awards throughout the week.
