The app seeks to cut out the complications of receiving cash and checks and then having to deposit them. Tendr allows you to set up a registry where attendees can donate cash to you digitally and directly. And how is Tendr different from social payment apps like Venmo? The start-up allows you to make your donation a little more personal by adding a card that can even come accompanied with a gif. Tendr is also releasing "Give:Tendr," a feature that allows wedding gifts to be donated directly to a charity.
