Jack Hunter, Political Editor at Rare, discusses President Trump's deal with Democrats on an extension of the debt ceiling. Hunter notes that the deal is a slap in the face to Republicans, saying there's "no other way to look at it." But was the move smart? Hunter adds that the U.S. may be spending too much, and that thinking we can continually raise the debt ceiling and still keep American institutions like social security in place is "crazy talk." And in regard to whether this alignment between Trump and Democrats signals more bipartisan moves in the future, Hunter believes the president will give each side a little bit of what they want. But will anyone be fully pleased? Hunter says that remains to be seen.
