The Key Questions in the Equifax Investigation

Shares of Equifax plunged on Friday, after the credit reporting company said it suffered a data breach. As many as 143 million customers, about half of the U.S. population, may have been affected. Jeremy Owens, Technology Editor for MarketWatch, says that the optics of how Equifax handled the fallout are not good. Owens says the consumer credit reporting company could lose $300 million in the fallout from this cyberattack.
