Nordstrom is planning a brand new retail concept for brick-and-morter stores. "Nordstrom Local," which launches in West Hollywood in October, will feature services like personal styling and manicures. The "Local" version will be much smaller than the average Nordstrom store, and does away with traditional inventory. Chavie Lieber, Senior Reporter at Racked, says the new concept signals Nordstrom is paying attention to the changing retail landscape, and adapting for the future.
