The publication you have known as Advertising Age for almost 90 years is now rebranding itself as AdAge and will focus on the intersection of culture and marketing. Heidi Waldusky, General Manager of Marketing and Brand, and Associate Publisher for AdAge, joins Cheddar to explain the new image. She talks about how advertising has changed over the past 90 years, and why AdAge felt like it needed to up the ante to keep up. She talks about how brands needs to toe the line between creativity and being informational. Plus, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg is on the cover of one of AdAge's first issues as a new brand.
