Fogel notes that the group provides infrastructure for its companies including booking.com and kayak.com to grow. Fogel, who took over as CEO last January, speaks of the lessons he learned by seeing other acquisitions fail. We asked Fogel about the political policies and rhetoric affecting travel in the U.S. and around the globe right now. Fogel notes that Priceline is not taking political sides but says he is always in favor of more travel, not less, regardless of what is happening between governments.
